International co-productions with Canada in every country

EqualiTV is a newly licensed cable TV channel in Canada managed by media professionals with broad internatioanl experience including in the Gulf kingdoms which is the first cable TV channel in the world inclusive of people with disabilities.   Due to the need and global interest and Canada's great packagie of financing funds applicable to these, we are aiming to produce mostly international co-production. While the UAE does not have a co-production treaty signed with CAnada despite our efforts to make one, we have since been offered a very comparable mechanism for co-ventures which also qualifies for all the same funding benefits.

This website is very difficult for me to access and use.  If you have financing or access to it we can start production right away as an international co-production. If you don't have financing we might be able to help once we build the equity funds we are aiming to build expressly to support international co-productions. The fund we are pushing for to help us in the Middle East we are also ensuring has training and apprenticeship opportunities too, and for this we are calling it the "Camel Train".

Hi Sheila,

Thanks for the post! When you say the channel is for people with disabilities, do you mean that the content created covers these aspects?

I looked at the website, would like to learn more.

Thank you,

Michelle
